This learning event is right for you if you are keen to grow your knowledge and understanding of contemporary assessment theory and practices in your classroom. You might be an experienced teacher who wants to develop your mastery or a new teacher who wants to revisit key content from your pre-service days.
Quality assessment is crucial to effective teaching and learning. The practice of quality assessment is an expectation of every teacher, as is knowledge of contemporary methods that are used to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition and educational needs of learners. A challenge for educators is mastering the language and developing a common and shared understanding of the concepts of contemporary assessment. This webinar will provide a clear and sensible overview of the language and concepts, allowing participants to create a strong foundation for further learning.
