This learning event is right for you if you are a secondary school teacher interested in deepening your understanding and use of academic vocabulary in the classroom.
Students are required now, more than ever, to have a specific vocabulary to target the requirements of each subject. This asynchronous online course will give you practical advice on how to explicitly teach academic language in your classroom. It will allow you and your students to move beyond buzzwords and jargon and into focused and relevant language that can be employed across all subject areas.
