Description

Every day we are learning about the importance of, and the risks associated with, cybersecurity. Those risks are not limited to big corporations or even the private sector. Schools are increasingly faced with cybersecurity-related questions and potential for liability, and they are beginning to seek coverage for those risks. During this half-day session, a panel of experts will lead discussions on potential exposure, explain possible risk management processes and risk mitigation strategies. The panel will also provide a detailed description of the types of coverage available under a cyber-insurance policy.

It is of strategic importance that schools have robust security mechanisms in place.

This learning event supports creating best practice toward meeting the following VRQA standard(s):

  • School governance – Governance
