This learning event is right for you if you are an isComply user or have a responsibility for risk and compliance at your school.
Description
isComply is an online portal developed by Independent Schools Victoria especially for Independent schools. It is structured around the VRQA minimum standards and other requirements to support schools to manage their compliance and other regulatory obligations. It contains an extensive range of model policies, guidance materials and compliance information. While the minimum standards and requirements are at its core, isComply will also encourage schools to draw on the wealth of resources across the isEducation product suite and experts at Independent Schools Victoria.
The webinar will provide an overview of isComply and how users can access and navigate the resource, which is provided to all member schools as part of their ISV membership. The session will also explore how isComply can support schools with the VRQA school review process.
Self-paced online content is also provided to support participants.

Presenter information
David Burton
David Burton returned to Australia in 2015 after several years overseas. Until recently he served as Head of Senior Campus at Woodleigh School, a role which included periods as Acting Principal, most recently during the COVID-19 crisis. David has a background in teacher coaching and professional learning, curriculum development, middle years innovation and the integration of new learning technologies into the classroom. David has particular expertise with the International Baccalaureate programs. He was IB MYP Coordinator at the International School of Paris and the Australian International School in Singapore. As a regular IB conference presenter and workshop leader over the last ten years, David has led professional learning with schools and teachers across Australia and New Zealand as well as throughout Asia, Europe and Africa. He has also completed a Masters of School Leadership course, specialising in research into the efficacy of teacher collaboration.
