This learning event is right for you if you are interested in or required to build a portfolio of evidence to support your professional growth and learning.
There are occasions when we want to document the effectiveness of our teaching practice and/or show growth in our skills. Many teachers compile a portfolio of documented evidence from a variety of sources, illustrating their growth and reflection on practice over time. Learn about the nature of evidence available to teachers. Understand the purpose of a portfolio. Discover the free resources available to you to support your work. Listen to the stories of others who have built expertise in this role. Leave with an action plan for your next steps.
Knowing where you are is a strong basis for moving forwards in your career. Teaching is a knowledge-based profession where our skills are constantly honed through ongoing reflection on our practice. Maintaining a portfolio of evidence builds the habit of regular reflection, contributing to our personal and professional growth and development.
