This learning event is right for you if you are wanting to learn how to assess and develop your students’ Habits of Mind using the new Habits of Mind Profile Tool.

The Habits of Mind are one of the true classics in education. Derived by Art Costa and Bena Kallick, the Habits of Mind describe what the most efficacious learners do when confronted with problems, the solutions to which are not immediately apparent.

For more than 25 years, schools around the world have been working to improve student learning outcomes by infusing the Habits of Mind into their curriculum and classrooms. Over that time we have seen student learning outcomes improve and schools flourish as the Habits of Mind are adopted and lived throughout the school community.

In this free and insightful 45-minute webinar, James Anderson will share his insights on Habits of Mind, from his own experience and work with Art Costa and Bena Kallick, and introduce you to the Habits of Mind Profile Tool, a revolutionary way to assess them.

All participants will receive a copy of James Anderson’s white paper Learner Agency - a guide for school leaders.

This learning event supports creating best practice toward meeting the following VRQA standard(s):

  • Curriculum and Student Learning – Student learning outcomes
