This learning event is right for you if you are a member of the school community who is constantly faced with a range of challenging situations in their daily work.
This workshop will examine and develop skills to deal with challenging behaviours and provide practical strategies to cope with tricky workplace situations. Participants will be lead through a practical framework to approach challenging conversations with greater confidence and better outcomes.
In an interactive and non confrontational environment, participants are taken through their rights and responsibilities for a safe workplace.
Members of the school community are consistently faced with a range of challenging situations in their daily work. Conflict is a part of life. It can be hard to control and can quickly escalate. Unchecked it will have a negative impact on the wellbeing of both individuals and the school.

Deb Ferguson is an experienced facilitator, executive coach and keynote speaker in the areas of wellbeing, resiliency and conflict management. With an extensive background in education, Deb’s drive is to inspire and motivate people to manage their increasing personal and professional demands. Deb’s book ‘What Teachers Need to Know about Personal Wellbeing’ is published by the Australian Centre of Educational Research. Her vision is for people and communities to flourish.
