Michelle Green

Michelle Green has been Chief Executive of Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) since 2002. She has chaired a variety of organisations in the not-for-profit area, including in health and industrial relations, and has significant experience in practical governance matters.

Michelle has been at the forefront of significant change and development in education in Victoria and nationally. To help Member Schools meet these challenges, she has focused ISV on research, governance and relations with governments and media.

In advocating for the rights of parents to choose the best education for their children, she believes that they and all Australian schools need financial support to build an education system that serves a creative, modern, diverse and prosperous nation.
