Description
Gifted and Talented students see the world through alternative lenses. They typically show advanced reasoning skills, a strong capacity for abstract and critical thinking, and intense curiosity, undertaking tasks with innovative and creative problem-solving approaches.To celebrate Gifted Awareness Week 2026, join ISV to explore student artworks at the NGV A. This will offer an appreciation of the depth, complexity, and intellectual challenge gifted learners bring to creating artwork, alongside their advanced ability to engage in abstract thinking, sophisticated connections, and exploration of multiple layers of meaning.

Leah Santilli
National Gallery of Victoria
Leah Santilli is a senior educator at the National Gallery of Victoria. In this role she helps lead the development and delivery of a wide variety of learning programs inspired by art and design for students and teachers of all levels and a variety of curriculum areas. Leah is also the curator of Top Arts 2026, an exhibition that showcases innovative and creative works by students who have achieved outstanding outcomes in VCE visual arts studies.
