Drive action and results by developing rapid strategic responses to pressing challenges and opportunities. Fast-track a process and strategy to respond to pressing concerns that present schools with risk, challenges, opportunities or threats.

  1. Strategise Rapidly: Develop and implement fast-tracked problem-solving techniques to address immediate risks and challenges.
  2. Mobilise Action Plans: Construct and mobilise actionable strategies to respond quickly to critical school concerns.

Presenter information

Professor Donald MacLean         

As well as co-founding StrategyStory with Kate Hooper, Professor Donald MacLean works at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. Donald’s internationally published, ground-breaking research on strategy is used by business and academics across the world. His book has been described as ‘genius’ and ‘tour de force’ by leading international scholars. He has held appointments such as Chair of the board of SAMS Research Services Ltd., Oban as a University town and strategy lead for the Institute of Directors.

Kate Hooper      

Kate Hooper was a BBC senior producer/producer (news and current affairs, politics, human interest, topical and events), and has led content and communication teams in a number of organisations. Kate is an Ambassador for Women’s Enterprise Scotland and a non-exec board member of a large charity. Kate has worked extensively across online, broadcast and print media, and wrote her own column for years. Her passion is creating very human-focussed, strategic communications and content for audience to deliver results.
