This webinar will explore 10 approaches or elements that effective teachers say and do to establish a productive and safe learning environment. There are so many behaviour management books written and millions of Google hits when researching ‘behaviour management’ that it is easy to get confused and frustrated when things don’t work. 

Participants will be led through 10 micro skills or strategies that are key themes in the past 50 years of behaviour management theory and practical advice.

He has highly developed skills as a facilitator, trainer and presenter, and is widely recognised as an international expert on restorative justice and behaviour management. David has played a major role in the introduction of restorative practice into schools in Australia and internationally. He is an experienced counsellor and mediator, including high level management of critical incidents and school-based trauma. David has over 30 years of experience working with teachers and students in a variety of diverse educational settings.
