This learning event is right for you if you are a Year 7 to Year 10 humanities teacher looking to amplify your unit planning
Amplify your unit planning for the contemporary learner – humanities for Year 7 to Year 10 teachers has your students at the forefront of every unit plan. This one-day workshop will be highly interactive, encouraging you to embed the most up-to-date techniques in order to engage each and every learner in each and every class.
Participants will work with ISV staff and experienced current practitioners to embed collaboration and communication, critical thinking and creativity, exploration, experimentation and knowledge building, and reflection into their planning. The aim of this workshop is to create meaningful and relevant units that lead to high levels of engagement and empowerment of both the student and teacher.
Participants will receive coaching from presenters on the day, as well as a follow-up session to track progress and success of the implementation.
