This learning event is right for you if you are a teacher wanting to go to the next level with video across learning areas.
This workshop is for educators who are wanting to go to the next level with video production. It is assumed that the participants already have at least a basic understanding of how to capture video assets and do simple edits with Adobe Premiere Pro which is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud and available in most schools. This workshop will help video editors enhance their skills and their productions with a range of editing shortcuts, audio techniques, colour correction options, special green screen effects and more. It will also show how Adobe Character Animator and Photoshop can be used to feature animated characters into your video productions
Video is increasingly becoming a 21st century literacy. It can be a powerful communication and creativity tool across all areas of the curriculum at all levels of education.
It is the ideal multimodal media because it can feature an artistic mix of moving images, still images, music, voice, animation, special effects and text.
Video is an ideal learning, assessment and reflection tool because it can capture learning as it takes place. It helps students construct & reflect what they are learning, therefore consolidating their understanding to a higher and more comprehensive level.
No longer is quality video production restricted to years of training with very expensive equipment. Adobe have a range of video software solutions that produce outstanding results with everyday hardware like a smart phone or iPad.
