Description                                       

In this course, we will explore curiosity as the key to engagement and challenge. We will dive into resources and pedagogical strategies that put thinking and curiosity at the heart of our learning design. From incredible, free, digital resources and virtual reality through thinking canvases, you will leave with a toolkit of resources. We will explore questioning strategies to move the balance towards more learner generated questions, dive into reading mysteries and higher order thinking activities sparked by curiosity and we will explore the characteristics of a curious classroom.  This course is open to any level and any subject and will provide a variety of resources.

Chris Harte                         

Chris Harte is Director of Unstuck Learning, Australia.  He focuses on learning and innovation, bringing research, experience and extensive knowledge networks together to forge great learning for all. Chris has particular expertise in the following: language learning pedagogy and language specific support (English, French and Spanish), design thinking at an organisational and individual level, digital technology and learning spaces (both physical and virtual), learner centred pedagogy and learning models, strategies to enhance higher order thinking, learner efficacy and engagement, formative assessment strategies and learning analytics.
