Description

ISV member schools are invited to hear from CRRE expert, Karen Doyle from Christian Consent, to learn about their program that has been created to deliver CRRE through a Christian lens, along biblical principles. This program has a whole school focus that includes:

  • educator resources - 15 lessons per year level with clear learning intentions, student workbooks and instructional/explanatory videos
  • educator professional learning sessions
  • community information sessions

Presenter information

Karen Doyle

Karen Doyle is the founding director of Choicez Media, Australia's largest provider of values and faith-based resources for the education sector in the areas of puberty, respectful relationships and consent formation and education.

She is a popular speaker at conferences around the world and a specialist in empowering men and women to uncover and live their potential.

Karen began her professional journey in nursing before commencing post-graduate work in Marriage and Family Studies. She is a qualified Family Life Educator and the author of a number of books, including The Problem with Pornography.

For more than two decades Karen has designed and developed extensive curriculum programs used by hundreds of schools and thousands of individuals across Australia and around the world.

Most recently, Karen has developed the Live Life To The Full program in response to Federal Government mandates requiring the teaching of Consent and Respectful Relationships in every Australian school. The Live Life To The Full program has been designed specifically for Christian schools, to support teachers to meet the government mandates for respectful relationship and consent education while teaching a Christian perspective. Live Life To The Fill is a respectful relationship  and consent program for the flourishing of the human person.

Cancellations within seven (7) days of the learning event and not in writing will incur the full fee. Participants will be notified if there are any changes to the learning event or if it is fully booked and enrolments cannot be accepted.

Venue and parking
In-person learning events will be held at Independent Schools Victoria, 40 Rosslyn Street, West Melbourne, located close to Flagstaff Train Station and tram routes 57 and 58. Commercial car parks and on-street meter parking are available at participants’ own expense.
