Description

This online event explores the key aspects of the Victorian Child Safety Reforms, with a specific focus on the Child and Family Violence Information Sharing Schemes. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the legislative framework, the principles of information sharing, and the practical application of these reforms in child protection and family violence contexts.
 
Through case studies and guided discussions, attendees will develop the skills necessary to implement these schemes effectively, ensuring improved collaboration across services and enhanced safety for vulnerable children and families.

It is designed as a collaborative learning opportunity to examine the Victorian Child Safety Reforms, specifically the Child and Family Violence Information Sharing Schemes. Steven Wishart
 
Steve Wishart is an ISV Principal Consultant and Child Information Sharing Scheme Project Officer. He works across the ISV membership to support the implementation of Child Safety reforms. Serving the International Baccalaureate, Steve held a diverse range of senior leadership roles including Associate Regional Manager for Asia Pacific (PYP), IB World Schools Relationship Manager roles supporting Eastern Europe, West Asia, Asia Pacific, and Central America, and Senior Manager IB World Schools. In these roles, he worked extensively with school leadership, regulatory and accrediting bodies, national associations, and Ministries of Education, providing advocacy, supporting school improvement and promoting innovation and service. In addition, Steve has previously served the Department of Education in Victoria, focusing on School Regeneration, Pedagogy, and Space. Steve is excited to support ISV member schools in his current role.
