Description

Schools provide unique environments where educators and learners can thrive. The Wellbeing leaders network provides a forum for members to share ideas, resources, and best practices and collaborate on initiatives that promote wellbeing in schools.

Educators and leaders who experience wellbeing are more resilient and feel higher levels of autonomy in their roles. They have higher levels of self-efficacy, decreased motivations to leave the profession, and are more satisfied with their roles and careers. Students who experience wellbeing have reduced impact of psychological stress/PTSD, increased physical health and longevity, increased motivation, are more likely to graduate from high school and university, and have more fulfilling careers.

ISV is excited to begin the Wellbeing leaders network with the aim to facilitate:

·       stronger connections between schools

·       new professional relationships

·       a forum for new ideas

·       access to a range of perspectives

·       feedback on well-being initiatives.

Network meetings will be held via Zoom, for one hour, with varied structures. We will welcome a representative from Be You to each meeting who will act as a guide on the side. Meetings will be flexible and adapt to the needs of its members and will provide an opportunity to connect and learn from each other.
